About U7
Worcester RFC U7s is a fantastic introduction to rugby — fun, energetic and totally non-contact. Players enjoy tag rugby in small teams, developing handling, running and spatial awareness in a safe, encouraging environment.
New players can join at any point in the season — just show up on a Sunday morning. We’re at Weston’s Fields every week from 10:00–12:00, so aim to arrive by 9:55. After matches the club lays on hotdogs for all players, and there’s always something warm in the clubhouse.
Away fixtures do come around — distances range from Droitwich to Luctonians near Ledbury — so car sharing is always appreciated.
Kit: Boots, shorts and a rugby top to get started. Full kit around £50; tags and balls are provided.
Subs: £TBC for the season (September to April, 30+ sessions). We also aim to take players on tour each year — a brilliant experience at a subsidised cost.
The club is entirely run by volunteer parents — your involvement makes all the difference.
