About 16G
Worcester RFC U16 Girls brings together players across Years 9 and 10 at a stage where the game really starts to click. With a wider squad spanning two year groups, there’s great team spirit, healthy competition for places and real opportunity to develop as a player.
Girls play full 15-a-side rugby with contested lineouts including lifting, kicks at goal and a match structure that closely mirrors the senior women’s game. It’s competitive, physical and hugely rewarding.
New players are welcome at any point — no pre-registration, no waiting list, just turn up. We’re at Weston’s Fields every Sunday, 10:00–12:00 (please arrive by 9:55). Hotdogs after every home game, with the clubhouse open for families throughout. Away fixtures range from Droitwich to Ledbury — car sharing is always appreciated.
Kit: Boots, shorts and a rugby top to get started. Full club kit around £50; match balls provided.
Subs: £TBC — 30+ sessions from September to April, plus a subsidised end-of-season tour.
There’s also a clear pathway into our U18 Girls squad when the time comes. Worcester RFC is entirely volunteer-run and we’re incredibly proud of our growing girls’ section — come and be part of it.
